Content Description
Expressing his concern over possible harm to his sketches. Engravers and painters assure him that the usual practice is to place them under glass while the engraving goes on. He did not mean to offend but asks that they be placed back under their seals before work continues. He asks them to send the person who came with the plate of Verona last year, to consult with him over retouching.
