Rémy Markowitsch’s work Onion Options occupies the area directly opposite the main entrance above the main staircase. Three large illuminated onions made in China, Germany and the UK are suspended from the lightwell. Two large multilayered photo images of tulips hang on the wall behind them.
Markowitsch uses the onion and bulbs as an analogy for options trading, a timely account of globalised banking.
