The Royal Academy of Arts is one of the UK’s leading arts institutions, dedicated to the making, exhibiting and debating of art. We seek an experienced Switchboard Operator to join our Visitor Services team.
You will work as part of the Visitor Services team to provide first class customer service responding in a professional, friendly and helpful manner to all telephone enquiries including members of the public, staff and visitors to Burlington House and 6 Burlington Gardens.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable switchboard experience in a customer facing role with first class communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a clear speaking voice and the ability to ascertain the nature of and redirect telephone enquiries to the relevant person. You will be a good team worker, have high standards of performance and a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
