Nigel Hall - Sculpture and Works on Paper

02053752

Nigel Hall is one of the foremost sculptors of his generation. His preoccuption with space and balance has led him to create some of the most beautiful works of sculpture to have been produced over the last 30 years.
This handsomely produced book, the first comprehensive survey, is published to coincide with a retrospective exhibition at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. Extensively illustrated the book includes many of Hall's working drawings, revealing his skill as a consummate draughtsman.
The author Andrew Lambirth examines the artist's career from the early spatial constructions to recent public pieces and places him in the context of postwar European sculptures.
The book is 160 pages long containing 110 illustrations and is in a hardback, 30 x 22 cms format.
