19 July 2010

In the Reynolds Room, a John Madejski Fine Room

MaryAnne Stevens, the RA’s Director of Academic Affairs, explores how the training provided in prestigious ateliers, together with the Paris Salon, lured not only the young Sargent, but a polyglot community of aspiring artists, including the future members of the New English Art Club and the Glasgow Boys.
