The Royal Academy of Arts is delighted to host a series of lunchtime performances by students from the Royal College of Music.
The concerts take place every Wednesday and Friday in May in the Reynolds Room, one of the John Madejski Fine Rooms.
Founded in 1882, the Royal College of Music trains gifted musicians from all over the world for international careers as performers, conductors and composers. It is one of the world’s leading conservatoires with illustrious alumni including Holst, Vaughan Williams, Britten and, more recently, Sir Thomas Allen, John Lill, Mark-Anthony Turnage and Janis Kelly. There are currently over 600 students from more than fifty nations. Their backgrounds are diverse, but they have in common an exceptional individual talent. They come to the RCM to train with some of the most distinguished teachers in the world, to mix with inspiring and challenging peers, and to study in the most culturally vibrant capital city in Europe.
