Located beneath the historic galleries of the Royal Academy, The Restaurant brings together exquisite dining with stunning interior design and is a great place to relax and recharge at any time of the day.

Experience the full splendour of delicious food, from renowned restaurateur Oliver Peyton, whose menu is inspired by the best seasonal British produce from specially selected suppliers. The menu features all the ingredients you would expect from Peyton & Byrne , freshly baked cakes from our own bakery and all prepared by our talented chefs for you to enjoy either as a light lunch or for afternoon tea.

The Restaurant at the RA offers all day dining with waiter service. Open daily from 10am till 6pm, with dinner served on Fridays and Saturdays until 11pm.

Designed by Norman Shaw in 1885, the Restaurant has been redesigned by Tom Dixon with a luxurious and stunning new décor inspired by the Royal Academy Collection. Decorated with murals and sculptures from the RA Collection, it is an ideal and centrally located venue for Friends, Patrons, Royal Academicians and visitors.
