Facilities for babies and young children
There is a baby changing facility inside the accessible toilet. High chairs are available in the restaurant and café. For breast-feeding, the most comfortable area may be leather seats by the entrance to the restaurant. Pushchairs and buggies are allowed in the galleries and can be stored in the cloakroom.
Eating and Drinking
The Restaurant at The Royal Academy is open daily from 10am until 6pm. The RA Café is an ideal place to visit for a light snack and drink. Open 10am–5.30pm daily (7.30pm Friday).

Half Term Bronze Family Workshops
Tuesday 30 October and Thursday 1 November
Explore bronze sculpture in a workshop comprising an interactive slide talk, a visit to the exhibition and a hands-on session.

Family Studio
Clay, Wax & Soap
Sunday 18 November
Create your own sculptures, inspired by both ancient and modern works in the ‘Bronze’ exhibition. You will have the option to try clay and wax modelling or have a go at soap carving. We do welcome children of all ages. No booking required. Just pop-in and have fun!

Art Detectives
Art Detectives are fun exhibition trails for younger visitors to enjoy. Available free from the RA or to download here, each guide includes creative activities and encourages families to explore exhibitions together.
