Lucian Freud spent seven months painting a portrait of art critic Martin Gayford. The resulting book recounts their conversations and gives a rare insight into the artist’s working practice. Gayford previews his book with Freud’s assistant and photographer, David Dawson, and art critic Dr Richard Cork, and signs copies after the discussion.
