Opening in 2013, The Keeper’s House is an exciting new development set to more than double the space for Friends of the Royal Academy of Arts. Based in the heart of Piccadilly, during the day it will serve as a hub for members, offering first class facilities. By night the space will open to the public offering the Royal Academy of Arts the unique opportunity to host new audiences well into the evening. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual to manage the commercial operations of The Keeper’s House.
The successful candidate will possess strong commercial acumen and devise and grow revenue streams. They will be very personable, a strong negotiator, sales person and deal maker.
An experienced project manager, they will oversee the launch, thereafter the day to day smooth operation of a full events programme for members and public, whilst also ensuring the delivery of member benefits. The successful candidate will be able to design a creative and engaging events programme for a range of audiences.
Able to forge strong relationships, they will liaise with catering staff and Academy colleagues to ensure high rates of member satisfaction. Customer service focused, with an approachable and friendly manner, they will be able to identify and resolve problems.
Computer literate, the successful candidate should be an advanced user of MS Excel. They will have strong drafting skills to produce compelling and engaging literature for varied audiences. Previous experience managing private member clubs or similar is preferred.
