The Royal Academy of Arts is one of the UK’s foremost arts institutions, famous for its world class exhibitions including Van Gogh, Anish Kapoor and David Hockney. Its purpose is to be a clear, strong voice for art and artists. Its public programme promotes the creation, study and enjoyment of art to a wide range of audiences through exhibitions, education and debate.

We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to provide comprehensive administrative and some PA support principally to the Finance Director & Head of Operations, as well as our in house Legal Advisors and the Human Resources team.

A first class administrator, you will have experience of producing professional minutes with excellent PC skills including a high level of competence with Excel and understand the full functionality of Word. You will be methodical, task orientated and well organised with the ability to introduce and manage effective monitoring and filing systems.

Well presented, articulate and confident, you will possess first rate communication skills to build effective working relationships both with internal colleagues and external agencies. Excellent attention to detail skills and a flexible approach to work are essential.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest and knowledge of the visual arts and a sound understanding and knowledge of the Royal Academy of Arts.
